I'm going to a crazy Concert Marathon and play in 100 Churches in 100 Postal Codes in less than a year. I have long been fascinated by all these churches, they are everywhere - in the countryside, towns and all neighborhoods - everywhere there is a church - so beautiful, mysterious, cozy and exciting.
I love playing in churches, there's something so fun about extremes - like some songs become more fragile and beautiful, and others go the other way, becoming rough and dirty. I have custom designed the stage, lights and sound equipment for this occasion.
I will be alone with a few guitars, accordion, drums and the church organ of the future. I am very much looking forward to meeting you in the Old Church.
Cheers, Mugison.

Ísól Lilja Róbertsdóttir is going to exhibit her recent artwork in the Norwegian House in Stykkishólmur, with the opening on the 6th of April.
The source of inspiration for her art which consists of her own mandala designs, seemingly floating on top of colourful backgrounds, can be found in elements from her life. She grew up in Stykkishólmur and its environment, the landscape of Snæfellsnes. From a young age, she has had a deep fascination in the shapes and colours not only found in nature, but also those seen in space, inspiring her to pursue a career in astrophysics, with the B.Sc. already accomplished.
The symmetry of shapes and colours within her mandalas evoke clear imagery of designs found in nature, while the swirls often seen in the background put space nebulas to mind. Ísól Lilja’s paintings are a wonderful example of what a mind that feels drawn to both mathematics and art can create.
Her work has inspired over 20k people on Instagram which follow her account @drawing_in_ice .

The Juliana festival of stories and books takes place on the 14th - 16th of March.
A photo exhibition of Jóna Þorvaldsdóttir's black-and-white art photographs is currently taking place in Norska Húsið.
Jóna will be there with an artist talk on Saturday, March 30 from 16-18. Light refreshments available.
With her photographic works, which are shrouded in mystery and softness, Jóna is passing on what she perceives and experiences every time. They do not necessarily reflect reality as it appears to us, but they are a journey into her world, into the world she imagines.
When she is photographing, she allows her intuition and the environment to work with her, working from what happens. Sometimes she takes pictures simply because she feels comfortable in the place or when something subconsciously calls to her.
"My paintings are my personal inner experience, but the viewer can interpret them in their own way". Jóna likes to let her imagination run wild and contemplate various shapes and creatures that appear in nature that can change and disappear in a moment.
At first glance, many of her pictures appear to be only landscapes or shapes, but upon closer inspection, you can see various creatures acting. It all depends on how each person sees and experiences the footage.
The craft is very important to her. She develops the films herself and enjoys manually enlarging the photographs in the quiet of her darkroom and processing them by hand. Each and every photograph is unique as digital technology does not come close.
Jóna studied photography in Warsaw, Poland, and has since attended various workshops and held numerous exhibitions.
The exhibition will be open Tuesday - Saturday from 13.-16.
